If your teammate tells you verbatim "You're about to get invaded", listen
Had a game go south almost immediately because of a Lee Sin who wouldn't listen.
Level 1, he hits a Q on a Zed and goes in. Enemy has a Naut support who goes to Q Lee Sin and Lee blows flash early, gets no summoner's from the enemy in return.
Immediately I tell Lee Sin that he's going to get invaded because he has no flash and he'll be a bit behind clearing his red buff since he had to back as well. I said these exact reasons to him so there'd be no doubt as to why somebody would invade a Lee Sin.
Lee ignores this. Clears raptors, wolves, and then finally goes to his blue instead of quickly going to his next buff to make sure he's not around for the invade.
Guess who gets invaded?
About as prepared as I can possibly be for an invade - along with our Veigar mid, the weakest early character in the game - we rush to try and help our Lee Sin as best as possible. This results in the Liss top and Zed mid getting a collective 3 kills and assists off the entire thing, and the Kayn is practically formed at this point. This is a Zed against a Veigar mid and a Lissandra against me.
The Zed understandably annihilates the Veigar and subsequently everything else, and while I did some absurd outplaying on Lissandra top, Kayn wall-walked top every time and finished me off while Lissandra would escape with next to no health. Lee Sin lost all pressure at this point and was put so far behind Kayn that he was irrelevant.
All because one guy decides "Nah, my teammates don't know what they're talking about."
Generally if your teammate is telling you information about the game as opposed to anything else, they're not trying to sabotage you - they're trying to help. And if they're informing you that you should be cautious - especially if they're coupling it with legitimate reasons that you could conclude yourself - you should take the advice.
Zed went on to be 20/2 because there was practically no way to deal with someone who literally just ulted and killed a person every 40 seconds. The game was in all practicality a 4v5 at this point since somebody was always going to be deleted.
Next time, listen.
