@Riot: Can we get some feedback on if your botting trackers are working?
I'm not asking what criteria your botting trackers use. For obvious reasons, that shouldn't be revealed. But I would like to know a few things.
How many games do you have to track an account before it finally gets punished for botting? Does it have to be reported to get flagged for checking, or do accounts get auto-flagged for certain criteria? Is it possible to let people who played a game with a botting character get a client alert knowing that someone we played with is under suspicion?
As it is now, it seems like bots are running rampant without any punishment in AI games. Because we just see so many of them, it appears that nothing is really being done about it. I would like to think by the time it takes an account to hit level 30, there's no way it can not be caught if it was botting for the majority of the run there, but the fact that so many bots persist implies that there's a reward for botting. Any feedback on how effective bot script detection is working would be appreciated. I also have ideas for catching bots if the current system is going slow and any staff actually has the time to listen.
