AFK's mean no lp lost...plz

AFK's already get punished via leaverbuster ergo it makes no sense whatsoever that if someone leaves mid game for any reason, their team (that is now at a disadvantage through no choosing of their own) still loses lp/placements/series points.

I understand the game is balanced around the 0.1% however it makes no sense to not have this implemented to remove so much hassle and tilt from gameplay, having lost promos twice already due to this and having afk's in 5/30ish current ranked games its an unnecessary ball ache to worry about if your adc is gonna afk cos you didn't camp his lane all early game

abusable. I que with my duo the game doesnt go our way the one who is lower lp simply leaves and saves the other guy. Or the guy who has LP leaves so the other guy doesnt demote.

No. This has been brought up countless times throughout the years. It would most likely introduce a new layer of toxicity where 4 other members of the team gang up on the "feeder" and demand they afk so they can avoid LP loss.

Yeah...it could be abused, however I think at that point this alleged leaver buster would step in, and ban your friends account, who kept taking the hit for you, I would also propose that IF you are caught leaving or afk in a game 10 times or something, they suspend your ranked privileges for the season

the joke is. it feels actually like if i had no lp lost 4 every afk match i could climb from silver 4 to diamond 4 within next week... 35 lp per win , high winrate against low diamond players , but each 2 rounds 1 or more afks.

i´ll hope riot answer in the next ask riot finally about the actual afk situation.

i mean the afk rates are sometimes really around 25% per league and if some players never had any afks there must be players who have every 2 rounds or less any afk so their statistic with "if youself dont go afk you have a lower chance to get an afk than the enemys" are totally bullsh*t . i mean ...... my last rankeds last season was made by promo to s4 , won it , and then 18 losingstreak made by nearly ~35 afks before i dropped down. this is less fun than less fun .... hope riot fix this system ....

I suppose the worry with this would be some LP creep as now you have teams that are benefitting from the afk, but overall I think it would wash out as there are less afk when you leave the bottom, and a bad player still won't climb much as they won't win the necessary games anyway.

I don't think "no lp" loss would be very good, seeing as people are basically being semi rewarded for having a hard to carry teamate. If personally just say much more reduced L.P loss, considering 4v5's are still perfectly plausible (depending on which role afk'ed, and when)
