Hi all ! So what Pyke's role will be? I guess jungle ?

I'm pretty sure they're going to shoe horn him to support. If he goes to another role, they won't embrace it and nerf him until he can only be 'decent' support, but then he won't be played because he doesn't do things better than other supports.

Probably support. That's the role where he will be most free to trade and disengage as needed with opponents. His passive only works for damage taken from champions so he needs to be in a place where he can fight enemies in order to make use of the sustain from it.

Other likely roles, top or bot-lane carry in a kill-lane - because he can share the gold from kills with his ally, improving the efficiency of running a kill lane in bot.

Well, he's meant for Support, so clearly that means he will be... ADC.

He’s poor in the jungle just because of his passive being a huge gimp to him. He won’t heal from monster damage and he can’t get tank stats if he does fall behind. His waveclear is ok, but early game damage is pretty terribad. I’d say support or top lane will be his best positions. He’d be bullied out of mid lane too much by assassins with better early burst or ranged mages.

Hes too squishy to be a jungler because his passive only procs on champion damage, and he cant build any tank stats to sustain him through it.

Midlane he is outbullied because of Superior waveclear, and he has high cooldowns so he cant try and contest a push. If he gets shoved so often it wouldnt be worth roaming.

So maybe toplane would be his next best thing.

So he can be played Mid, Jungle and Support.

Only GOOD players can pull of Mid or jungle well and usually as a Duo with jungler solo lane.
