Why can't it be simple.

It's nearly impossible to climb now and days, with every game being a 50/50 chance of winning or not. Can't we just have people who are the same rank vs each other? Silver fight Silver, Diamond fight Diamond. Why have this huge range of Bronze I player against a Gold IV ect. Isn't that the purpose of ranks? To separate players into appropriate skill level. I get your trying to prevent, "smurfs," but that just makes it less fun for people who aren't smurfs and are really trying to climb. But because of the system, they get placed in unfair matches.
