Jayhog1992's journal in NA: Day 10 - Hail to the (Poro) King!
Decided to do something different, so I decided to play only Poro King today. To see if these events spread around other game modes.
Match 54: Soraka Poro King (Victory)
People never expect a selfless player as I just pop in the gamemode and pick a support. Most love to be soloQ heroes, so they tend to pick tanks/carries.
Did do somewhat well, even decided to use my item set build. For some reason, the game saved my stuff from my EUW account. I thought those wouldn't cross each other tough? Strange.
Anyways, for the worse case, their Gragas kept insulting his Brand and Ashe, flaming his team before the game ended.
Match 55: Nami Poro King (Victory)
Again with the selfless supports. Only died once, but as long as I had CC, my team could always capitalize on my plays or counterplays. I did fairly well with my bubbles too.
As for the bad parts, their Lux tried to call out her Teemo's location and MF got annoyed that Lux kept farming her for kills.
Match 56: Nami Poro King (Defeat)
Things didn't go so well. Our Nasus went afk, they had a Blitzcrank, I tried to peel for our Draven and Twitch, but they fail to realize that there's only so much I can do under limited mana.
On the bright side, I didn't feed, literally, just had zero deaths.
Match 57: Soraka Poro King (Defeat)
Tried Soraka again, but this time tried to use the recommended build. HP wasn't an issue, but mana was.
Didn't help our Galio being annoyed at things. Our Nid was kind to heal me so I could keep up with the heals untill I got warmog's. (Yes, it recommends warmog's on Soraka.)
Match 58: Soraka Poro King (Defeat)
Another match, this time with Sejuani yelling at me to go kill myself in game (not flaming) because I couldn't do much after 15 minutes into the game.
Meanwhile their team had all sorts of divers, like Ekko, Singed, etc. Don't think we stood a chance.
Match 59: Sivir Poro King (Victory)
Sadly, I don't believe Sivir is a good champion in her current state, I can wave clear, yes, which is good for poro King, but when it comes to fighting I can proc 5 multi hits before I'm forced to just auto. We won mostly due to pure luck even with their fed Ziggs running at me to destroy me. Our MF carried the game, so I played along her and used my ult when I saw an escape/engage need.
Needless to say they blamed the Ziggs for the loss. Typical...
Welp, that was it for my saturday. Toxicity was a little, so far EUW normal. Could had been worse. Will probably play more as I keep leveling it up. Hoping to get to level 18 so I can start using keystone masteries.
