Can we please have the User Experience of the Rune selection improved?

When you have your two runes selected in the secondary tree, and you want to change either the first or the second one to a rune from the middle selection, it causes the runes to switch places or sometimes even bugs out to a rune you didn't even select.

It's just confusing and frustrating even if you specifically selected to just change the first rune, and things just get messy, switch around and even change to runes you didn't select which happens sometimes but not always.

Riot can you please find a way to solve this?
