Starcall [Q] - Enemies hit by Starcall are now always slowed (from slowed if hit in center) Slow lowered to 30% at all ranks (down from 30/35/40/45/50%) Enemies hit in the center no longer receive bonus damage (from additional 50%) Mana cost lowered to 60 at all ranks (down from 70/75/80/85/90) New mechanic!: If Starcall damages a champion Soraka gains Alignment, restoring up to 30/45/60/75/90 (+X) health and 20/30/40/50/60 (+X) mana over 5 seconds.

Astral Infusion [W] - Health restoration lowered to 70/100/130/160/190 (down from 120/150/180/210/240) Now can only heal champions (from any allied unit) Removed: Passive which healed Soraka if she hit enemy champion with Starcall [Q] New mechanic!: If cast while affected by Alignment Soraka will transfer the effect to her target with a refreshed duration.


Looks like Riot's going to be giving raka another minor rework.

Honestly, I've given up on any chance of Raka ever being remotely viable as a champion. If she's strong, she's frustrating and people ban her just to not deal with her. If she's weak, people want raka buffs, to make her viable. And it's an endless cycle.

In a game where the focus on PvP is tantamount, Champions with the ability to literally stop death or prevent it are considered frustrating and OP.

Tahm's Devourer, Soraka's rapid fire heals, and a few other select abilities, all have lead to those champions getting nerfed, or banned so much just so people don't have to deal with them.

At this point, I'm ready to give up on ever being able to enjoy Soraka, and just pick Supports that have better utility and teamfight than Raka does. And only use Raka to be a niche counter to certain combo champs like Zed and Riven.
