Sion smite bug

Anyone else notice if you smite a monster Sion pushes with his E ability the smite is negated? I don't know if i'm the only one who has realized this, but i have had trouble listing this in the client bug fix option and feel its not an imminent threat to anything major but can certainly be obnoxious if abused correctly on Non-epic camp.
