My 14- Day ban and the Vayne who went 0-59

3 Days ago I was suspended for 14 days for using a "homophobic" slur with my duo partner in chat. I was giving him a hard time in-game chat while we were in voice comms laughing about the game and what not. The remaining members of my team reported me and I got the suspension. Ok, shouldn't use phrases like that, I get the suspensions, I deserved it for being a jerk. So,I jump on my other account and pick up playing with the same friend. That's when I met... this person... I think it's against the rules to call players out specifically, but he goes Urgot mid, only buys mobi boots and homeguards and goes 0-35. His only desire is to die to mid turret. I think it's funny, but then i check his acct, he does this like... every 4th game..a few games before the urgot game he went 0-59 as vayne yet... he is still playing. I know he is because I reported him and was never notified that my feedback contributed to the behavior modification of another summoner. This makes me wonder, how much less "toxic" would chat and the game be if people like THIS were handled like toxic chat. It took approximately 5 minutes to get my ban. EVEN if he did EVENTUALLY get banned, it's not like 0-59 with only mobi boots and talisman of ascension is hard to spot. Why isn't he IMMEDIATELY suspended?

TL;DR too much emphasis on toxic which can be solved with a mute button, and not enough emphasis on dealing with the real problem.

Edit for clarity: In the game I played the summoner went 0-35 Urgot, I checked his account and has an 0-59 vayne.

Also, is it against forum rules to post proof, if it calls out a specific player?

Edited: I added screenshots of the games.

Find a better game to play. This company has become a joke

Takes ALOT more than 1 game to get a 14 day ban.

Source: person who used to get a shit ton of chat mutes

Yea people who obviously feed and troll should get banned because that's just straight up annoying but you're clearly lying about being 14 day banned after 1 game

While that behavior should be banned because it ruins the game for many people, especially if it happens in ranked, you lost me when you said "too much emphasis on toxic." Dear, a game problem like a feeder is just a videogame problem. homophobia goes beyond that. If I was forced to chose, I would always rather see you banned for your homophobia than a feeder. Though if I would rather see you both banned.

Both of these types of behaviour are 'real problems'.

I reported him and was never notified that my feedback contributed to the behavior modification of another summoner.

I've NEVER received a notification that any of my reports have had any type of effect. And my reports are always completely justified. This is definitely something Riot needs to work on: proving that reports have results.

You used a slur, Riot has a zero tolerance policy. Its an automated system now, so once you do something if the system finds it offensive enough. It will just automatically punish you.

If the system feels like its not good enough to judge your behavior off one game, it will seek out any and all extra reports from games.

You earned your punishment. **Don't say slurs anymore. **No, not even if you have a friend on your team. They are slurs for a reason and Riot doesn't give two shits if you were saying it to a friend or not. Muting doesn't change the fact that you will be punished. They can mute you, yes. You will still get punished, you will still have to change your behavior or risk a permanent ban of that account.

Feeders, AFK's and leavers are a completely different system that is currently still in the works. Its very much in the testing phases of what the system sees as negative behavior and actual server issues. So it will take time. Just remember to report actual negative behavior so the system learns.

IMA go out on a really thin limb here... and guess that... 0-59 is indeed reportable as intentionally feeding... I assume it was actually 0-59-0?

This relates to a post I made yesterday about how we are moving in the wrong direction with all of these punishments for behavior. The system is way out of scale with other games, inconsistent, and overly harsh for the actual effect it has on people.

The fact that you are suspended and he is not shows the flaw perfectly.

It baffles me why no one uses the phrase "Mind your own damn business" for League.

Stop worrying about others getting banned and make an effort to be a better player for League.
