Make frozen gauntlet melee only please?

I remember when sterak's gage was allowed on everyone and seeing kog'maw building it to survive burst and get tankier. The item was later changed to melee only and I thought that was a sensible choice. Good job.

Can't the same be done for iceborne gauntlet also? I played against karma top and ezreal with this god forsaken item and it gives them unnecessary utility (talking about karma with her already built in slow root and speed up shield). Along with the tank stat, sheen procs allow very good damage on ezreal that can proc it over and over with his ranged poke. It is impossible to catch these ranged champs that can abuse the item.

I agree. I'm a Karma OTP, and there's no reason why she should be able to use it. Ranged champions also shouldn't be able to use Klepto at full effectiveness.

kogmaw with rylais crystal scepter was gutted because it was very difficult to get close to him. Ezreal with iceborn gauntlet does the exact same thing yet nothing has been done

Ive always felt the best way to handle IBG would be to make the circle slightly larger, and have it center on the champ using it instead of the target.

For tanks/melees that build it, they can still get the slow and AoE damage, but it would become near useless on EZ since the slow would center on him instead of his target.

For melees with a slightly larger circle, this wouldnt be an issue, it would still slow things in melee, but Ez would have to look elsewhere for his slow, armor, CDR, mana fix.

You may want to clarify that you mean item 3025 and not item 3022 your title says Frozen Gauntlet

It's **Iceborn **Gauntlet item 3025 and Frozen **Mallet ** item 3022

Letting ranged champions apply on hit with abilities was a mistake, PERIOD. GP, Ez... Being able to stack all the on hit and free poke is just stupid.

Can't have it as it would nerf Ezreal and we know Riot won't let their golden boy lose build options and potentially be worse.

I think this is a terrible idea. I like the item for my mage supports, the slow is great sure, but it's not the main reason I take it.
