I was wondering if anyone could provide a list of the support champions as I know that there are many that are not under the role of support that are used. I am trying to obtain all supports so that I can have a wide choice when supporting.

Alrighty, will do my best. My apologies if I misplace any champion, but there are what I would loosely consider the support list:
Annie, Blitz, Braum, Janna, Karma, Leona, Lulu, Lux, Morgana, Nami, Nunu, Sona, Soraka, Taric, Thresh, Zilean, Zyra.
You could also potentially include Brand, Fiddle, Vel, Lissandra, etc. I don't know if those are considered "support" but I have seen them successfully fill that role on one occasion or another.
But also, use your imagination! Don't be afraid to break the meta and try new things. Hope this helps :)
if you go to make a new post and click on the ahri logo(insert a champion icon button), you can type in the word support and a bunch of champions will show up. a few of the non-traditional ones like vel'koz don't show up though.
