What jhin players arnt doing
So after playing jhin and realizing he is slow as hell with his swag walk, i started thinking ways to help this huge con of his.
Let's skip the q since it can't help you with escapes and go straight to his w.
His w makes him one of the only marksmans with an instant hard cc that you don't have to position yourself to use (like vayne condemn), even tho it's a root this still sets up easy skill shots for your supports.
his trap (e) is what will separate good jhins from a badass jhin. You should always time your w to the exact second an enemy sets one off. If you do this they won't have time to dodge the traps damage because of the cc.
Placements of traps during laning phase are what jhins fail to do atm. At first I thought of using them as Kallista wards and place them in the fog of war to prevent ganks. Then I started to realize that it's 10x better to use them behind you as a fallback plan B option if you start to lose a trade in lane or get Ganked. It's basically a Teemo shroom that you can combo off of.
Now for his ultimate. Do not be afraid to Use his ult to gain the health advantage in lane. You don't have to get the kills just try to land all 4 of them. TAKE YOUR TIME!! You have soooooo much time to shoot all 4. What I do is spam the first 3 and use all that saved up time to make sure I land the 4th one that crits.
In teamfights it's never a bad idea to start with his ult for many reasons.
-
You have 4 teammates that are standing in between you and the other team. So no one should mess with you while you ult.
-
If you miss your target, there's a decent chance you will hit someone else and not waste damage.
-
your bullets are seen by all of your team mates zooming past there screen. If you are tagging one person over and over teammates are going to see that and have better focusing on which enemies to kill first.
-
Your bullets slow. So even if you can't kill them with damage you can slow them enough for your team to catch up.
That's about all I have for right now. If anyone has any other ideas I'd love to hear them. This champ has a huge skill cap and can pull off some of the most swagged out plays. I don't think he's getting a buff once people see his real potential.
