Are mods allowed?

Ok, I saw online a person was using a cool mod I can't remember the name of it tho. but it didn't do anything for your stats or anything. it just told you while in-game what items to build to counter the champs your playing. I was wondering if that was legal or not. I haven't added any at all im just curious if mods like that are ok in riots eyes as long as you don't have any that allow you to cheat in the game.

Pretty sure that's called a Third Party Program, which is reportable and Riot instantly bans you for doing so.

if it changes the game files at all, it's a big fat no

some programs like lolwiz are allowed, but rito james can decide it isn't at the drop of a hat. use anything at your own risk
