I decided to play a game of league after a bit of time of taking a break, only to find out the matchmaking quality is miserable. You might think "oh, but the enemy Vayne is only level 17", yeah, no, at least Diamond level smurf pre-made with her support main. And that level 119, Masters I, ex Challenger level player in season 6, how is that even fair to get matched with a platinum IV player? Somehow I still managed to win my lane, but that made no difference. Bot lane got stomped, so did we later on. I wanted to ask if Riot ever cared about this aspect of the game and if they will ever fix it, until then, I'm taking another break, a longer one this time. Please don't tell me "sToP pLaYiNg BlInD pIcK yOu N00b", I just wanted to get my first win of the day and ended up getting depression from the quality of the game.

the problem is that riot balances matchmade games by median MMR rather than by lane MMR. As long as premades with overtly different mmr are allowed to exist that will always be a shitty situation for everyone that didn't sign up for it
