Issues with matchmaking

Four friends and I all joined a queue and were prepared to have some fun long story short are mid fed but we weren't surprised he is not that good but we later found out that their mid lane (zed) is diamond five with his teammates being bronze or so, the highest rank on our team was bronze two with us also having two unranked and one not even level 30 and it really ruined the fun of that game
