Can Riot implement a system that when you are in queue and a match is found it will tell you what role you are going to be in the team so you can agree to play that role or disagree and wait the longer queue time to get your primary role? Of course you would have to change decline to not boot you out of the lobby entirely but its just an idea.
Lol no. Because then 80-90% of the time SOMEONE won't accept. Esp. If you preferred Jungle/top and already have to wait a few mins. That would be unfortunate.
Ultimately, the problem with this is that many players wouldn't get their primary role just because they weren't willing to have the extra wait. So as a solution, it only benefits certain players.
However, an idea that i am for, is that when you click your primary role, it suggests a wait time to tell you how long of a estimated wait there will be before queing
Yeah i like this idea. You have the option to choose ONLY a primary, in which case it will give you an estimated wait - OR you can do it how it is now. And just choose a secondary.
I like your idea of the game telling you what role you are gonna have, but then again if you don't get your main role, that means the other guy is better than you at it.
