Stop gutting Sona!
Her kit has been nerfed multiple times already. Ardens censer got nerfed, redemtion got nerfed indirectly by the removal of the old heal keystone, which was a core keystone on her. Redemtion's active gets 3x the scaling from heal increase, which will be nerfed even further when they nerf the heal/shield increase from ardens censer, mikeals, and from the redemtion itself. Not only that, they also nerfed kleptopmancy, which is Sona's secondary option.
Yes, aery is strong, but that is only in LANING phase, and even that keystone just got recently nerfed. The old keystone was so much more powerfull lategame. She could litteraly buff heal entire teams defense with a spammable W. They basically traded her lategame for early game by removing the old keystone and introducing aery, so people started to complain about her early damage. Sona did not get stronger. Only her early game got stronger, which is more visible because damage is visible, and aery itself is visible.
Sona is a lane bully similar to Teemo. She will annoy you, she will poke you out, ONLY if you let her. She is one of the squishiest champion in league and very prone to ganks. She has litteraly no escape. If you know how to deal with her she will get stomped easily, to the point of no return for her, even in laning phase where she is considered good. I have been beaten way too many times in an unfavorable matchup(Sona vs Leona) without jungle interference (which I have intentionally picked Sona into Leona just to practice, and even in games where I am against an opponent who is below my elo).
I consider myself an experienced player, and most of the times when I stomp a lane as sona, it is because the opponent did not play correctly(does not gank, gets zoned because they overestimate enemy, etc.) The times when I get stomped is not necessarily because I am bad, but it is because Sona is very squishy and you often get oneshotted, by the blitz hook, thresh hook, brand combo, Leona e, lee sin Q... you name it. Everything is dangerous to Sona. One misstep and she blows up. You will know this when you play her. So please. Do not nerf her any further.
