issue with attack move

so i used to kite by simply clicking on an enemy then clicking to walk away, recently i tried working attack move into my kiteing pattern and iv noticed that attack move will often move me closer than i need to be to auto attack or outright ignore my other movement commands till it goes where it first clicked.

for example i attackmove into an unwarded tri bush, see their mid leave lane to kill me, start clicking back to my tower long before i get into the tri bush. click several times to stop moving into tri bush and go back to tower. forced to flash AND IT STILL TRYING TO WALK ME INTO TRI BUSH OVER DRAGON PIT then it finally stops after a good couple more seconds of spam clicking away from it.

anyone else having an issue with this?
