A QOL change for Tahm Kench's abyssal voyage

Can Tahm's ult go from being interruptible by damage to being interruptible by CC instead?

Its one of his signature moves but feels incredible useless almost all game. One of the main issues is that it gets cancelled if Tahm Kench gets damaged by literally anything while hes channeling it ,meaning it can almost never be used to save a teammate from danger and is instead only usable when engaging or just teleporting to lane faster.

Which even then is kinda "meh" compared to similar ults (ryze and tf) since tahm cant immediately Hard CC someone once the teleportation is done.

I mean, Ryze has a similar ult that is better in almost every shape and form. Ryze can not only move while channeling, but he can bring ALL his allies +minions which can only be cancelled by CC (or not being in the circle).

Ryze can use it for saving or engaging while tahm (whos designed to be a supp) can only use it for engage...

I personally feel that our lovable catfish needs a bit of love considering he has been consistently at around a 47% -ish winrate in botlane and riot seems to have focused on making some minor but needed changes to underperforming champs lately.

What do you guys think?

the main reason they made it interruptible by damage like rek'sais old ultimate, they're some of the best escapes (think twisted fate)

That's not QoL, that's a straight buff

Tahm already has one way to save him teammate. Giving him another would only make him more cancer.
