graves build

I recently bought graves because i think he is good and i had level 4 mastery on because of free weeks. i was wondering what a good bruiser graves build would be because im pretty sure im doing it all wrong. what i usually do is get deaths dance, swiftness boots, then i either go tanky by getting spirit visage which helps my life steal, or i just get phantom dancer. after that i pretty much go full tank because of how i get destroyed in teamfights no matter what i build so i thought if i went tanky it would help the team but i still get destroyed. i played crit graves a couple times but i dont anymore because he is way too easily bursted and his critical strikes were nerfed to shoot less bullets. i just dont know how im suppose to build to help me team the most without just getting focused down in one second

The thing you want to do is drain tank. The nerfs to graves auto attacks however mean that you need crit. I always get deaths dance first. Then I get phantom dancer followed by an infinity. Almost always go boots of speed and last two items are situational. Tank heavy get LW. Ap strong get a visage for more heals. You the primary target? Grab a ga. I always run warlords as graves. If you reach the point in the game where you can 1v2 top and jungle and regen most of your HP you pretty much auto win.
