The correlation between Autofill and the Carry Mentality

So, reading through the Boards, I came across this post, and this post. Both of these posts got me thinking about how autofill relates to this current Meta we seem to be in.

As stated by the second post, a post regarding the negative factors of autofill, "The more experienced Jungle will out class that Autofilled person." That's true, but why does matter? League is a team game, its not won or lost by a single person. You don't have to play a jungler that ganks a lot, or a jungler that contests objectives well. Say your a support main who gets autofilled, play someone like Ivern. His focus is play-making, manageing your team, and protecting them, something many support players know how to do. What about a top-lane tank main, you could play someone like Amumu, and control the teamfight, set up opportunities, etc, the things you would normally do.

But you don't see that. You see some people moan and complain, about the role they got, because they don't know how to play it. Why is that? The Carry Mentality. These days, as stated by the first post, it seems like everyone wants to play the role their best at, and the champion their best at, so they can carry the game. The majority of players who complain about Autofill, complain, because it places them in a position, they can't carry from, or its harder for them to carry from.

These days it seems like a significant portion of the playerbase have fallen into that mentality, of "I must carry this game." This is something I feel like Riot should focus on. It should teach it players that is good to carry, but that you can also be carried. You don't have to be the damage dealer, there are other things you can do.
