Can Aatrox's balance not be fucking held at the mercy of pro play?

Like seriously, hes a sad pile of trash. Terrible sustain, easy to walk out of or easy to outrange damage, only one damaging ability worth nothing (W is just Q fodder)(Also Q damage is just inconsistent as shit). Like please, just take Q2 and put it as his W. I'd prefer that than being so Q centric to the point it kills the champ's back (looking at you Irelia). Why did Aatrox have to get the axe when Akali was the more problematic one once you got rid of the revive? Every other lane has easy blind picks that have not really strong counters, but toplane doesnt get to have any? All this talk about "we're gonna fix top" is just words Riot, actually fix the lane, fix the fuckin' suffering champions in this lane, and give Aatrox the justice he deserves (also Galio because god forbid he acts like a anti-mage). No more words, just action.

If they (Balance team) buff Aatrox (similarly to Galio) for solo-queue then he will be ungodly broken in pro-play. A lot of champions, Azir Kalista etc, are balanced around pro-play for this reason. It sucks, I agree, but its gotta be how it is or every team will consist of: Aatrox, Leesin, Azir, Kalista, Taric. (Or worse. Yi Taric.)

He is completely fine.

He is balanced, it's a rare quality for reworked/new champions these days, chill.

He isn't even good in pro, he has a horrible winrate and hardly ever actually accomplishes anything. I don't know the reason for the priority on him.

He isn't. Aatrox is balanced around people playing good. Like if you play good Aatrox isn't actually bad.

Try to learn him please.

"Terrible sustain, easy to walk out of or easy to outrange damage, only one damaging ability worth nothing (W is just Q fodder" :D Now imagine if he didnt have any in built sustain like majority of champion... In one way, nobody would give a sh;t how strong his sustain is and in another if he got it as buff then everyone would be like "OMG! HE IS SO OP NOW", just because he is stronger in comparison to his previous self...

Easy to walk out of? Imagine what abomination he would be if it WASNT EASY. He is balanced around the way that you can mitigate his power with your skill as an opponent... When you success, you win, when enemy success in not letting you mitigate his power, he wins. There maybe isnt even champion that can take whole dmg from all sweet spots and keep fighting him...

Are you mad that W is skill expressive spell? Are you mad that you cant JUST use it? Go play malph then or something this simple like garen...

One last thing, its common so see aatrox to heal by 1/4, 1/3 every second sec. Only champions that have same OR better healing are Warwick Vladimir KaynOlaf Aphelios and these champions are all that have inbuilt healing like aatrox around which they are actually tuned. In short, these are champions whose characteristic is sustain ( tho, aphelios isnt worthy in my opinion). Excluding aphelios, all 4 have on par sustain and only for one battle or short duration of time. ( Kayn has 40% but he doesnt do that much dmg to outsustain opponents. Vlad has better sustain in 1v1 only and less consistent in comparison. WW, when he is more dmg oriented and also has less than 50% HP or so... Beside this, they all have better sustain when you include ultimate in which case they might surpass aatrox but that is limited to one battle by CD. )

The problem isn't the champ it's how everyone else plays. Aatrox is in a good spot right now and he doesn't fall behind as long as his team isn't feeding 10 kills to the enemy before mid game. Other champs suffer from this too such as Talon or Rene where if they don't get 3 kills early they'll struggle majorly in the late game. At the moment Aatrox is a good, solid champ but can only really do his best if you have a reliable team so either don't play him at low elos, get lucky and have a low elo team that isn't brain dead, or just play him flex with solid group a friends that knows what they're doing. Champion balance and mechanics should be based around pro play because that's how everyone should be playing anyway. They don't have to be pros themselves but understanding how to properly farm and not waste resources trying to get a kill every minute is the how players need to play.

they still play aatrox into sett as a counterpick in pro play, it was just his waveclear that was nerfed so he wasn't a broken blind pick

If he's such a problem in pro play then just ban him. You'd think pro players would be smarter than low elo
