Bad design for DC's

My internet goes out and I have to restart router/computer. I come back level 6 to every elses 9-10. I farm my ass of and the game goes 34 minutes and we win. I have the same amount of CS as our jungle/mid and do decent enough damage considering how far I am behind. I get "Leaver" and no rewards and it counts as a loss. What kind of crap design is that? Next time I'l l go grab a beer and come back when I know the game is good and over.
