Special Characters

Hey, I was wondering if Special Characters were allowed in names on the OCE server? I have seen many players with names fully in Chinese. Of course these names show up as boxes in game and in the loading screen, however in champ select it shows the characters. Is there a way I can have special characters? It would just be my current summoner name which is this リゼ神代
