How crab influenced every single lane along with jg

I am going to mostly exclude changes to items from my argument for this post.

We all get that crab made it so that early game jg's with extremely fast and safe clear are the only viable jg's ( Graves XinZhao Udyr Taliyah etc,) But what I find is missing from the discussion is how it completely changed other lanes as well. Keep in mind that many other factors also influence what is strong right now, but I feel like the crab change is the strongest argument as to why games barely last 20 minutes at this point, why assassins and other early game champions are the strongest right now, and why games are decided at the 5 minute mark. (HERALD CAN ALSO BE THROWN INTO THIS ARGUMENT)

http://champion.gg/statistics/#?sortBy=general.overallPosition&order=ascend&roleSort=Middle take this with a grain of salt, but these are plat+ champions assorted by overall performance. Notice that the top 5 (Yasuo is excluded) are all assassins ( I count Vladimir as an assassin, especially after he was described as an "Orianna Malphite " by one of the korean casters. ) the top 3 have access to stronger early game items than the bottom two ( item 3134 and item 3147 item 3057 ), and have more damage in their kit. because of this extra kill pressure, they have an easier time gaining lane priority, resulting in an easier time helping the jg out. the 7th laner on this list is because of the Karthus Nunu cheese strat. Places 8-13 all have very decent kits to help with scuttle, but why they are rated that high is mostly because of their 1 shot potential and safety. There is a possibility that this can also contribute to helping the jg. I know for a fact that the only way to win on Ahri at this point is to support the jg in almost everything they do in the early game.

http://champion.gg/statistics/#?sortBy=general.overallPosition&order=ascend&roleSort=Top I'm not a toplane player, so I really don't understand a lot of the top lane meta, but by looking at the top 10 it sure does seem like the strongest champions here are all lane dominant, meaning that they have priority in their lanes, and can easily roam to the river to help with both scuttle, and herald. I'm not gonna comment too much here cuz that's all I have been able to derive.

http://champion.gg/statistics/#?sortBy=general.overallPosition&order=ascend&roleSort=ADC the "bot lane" and support roles are a lot more convoluted and hard to form a thesis for given that the statistics aren't very clear, but what it looks like to me is that since the top 5 in this role are all early game centric champions, that the same pattern can be held true here. Yes I have seen Brand Vladimir bot as well as many other bruisers and mages but they do not show up anywhere close to the top, so making an argument with them is very difficult to do. Same arguement as before, early game champs mean more lane priority which means easier access to scuttle and drag.

http://champion.gg/statistics/#?sortBy=general.overallPosition&order=ascend&roleSort=Support For support, out of the top ten the only "non kill lane" supports are Nami and Soraka , so take that how you will since they do a lot more poking now. Lots of damage in the top 10, which is best used in lane to deny the enemy adc from farming, gaining lane priority in the process, and making it much easier to gain scuttle access.

tl:dr: the reason this meta is so early game oriented is because of how important jg objectives like scuttle and herald are, resulting in the winning team being the one who's laners contribute most to the jg objectives, especially in the initial scuttle clear. The strongest laners are the ones who show up with stronger champions (at around that lvl 2 mark), resulting in assassins, early game champions, and other high burst champions being the strongest laners right now. Since herald is another extremely important pre-20 min objective, it also shares the same argument as the scuttle crabs, although herald is 100x more important because of its buff.
