A short simple post on why I don't like Talon's update.

I loved since the 1st time I played him. It got to the point where he was the only champ I'd use mid-lane (until the release of ) and the only time I wouldn't use him was if the enemy picked him, before Ekko my backup was . Meaning the absolutely only champ with more matches played than Talon, was .

Back when I first started playing League, the mid-lane powerhouse was , no matter how well you played with , Veigar scaling off your own AP means he'd blow you up once you crossed that 400 mark (with most AP champs averaging 600+ late game, being near Veigar in a team fight meant you were going to die. The only AP options against him were . This was before the release of , making Talon the only AD mid lane assassin for years and he worked wonders against all the competition!

During this same time span, was dominating top lane every game either on your team or as your enemy. Due to pick order, I had to take top over mid, but the enemy team had so picking my beloved Wukong wasn't a smart option, so I tried Talon... AND DESTROYED HER!

For about 4 years or so, my answer to every / was . Fortunately, Talon still dominates Riven, even more so than he ever did!

But have you tried new Talon against Veigar? It's not pretty! Veigar dominates him. That's my biggest problem. The champion I absolutely dominated mid lane with for years got updated into a champion that's gets dominated by his past victims. Veigar went to being the absolute worse option to play against Talon to one of the best.
