What is actually going on?
This is mostly a vent post, but I'm just curious as to what others might think on some of the problems that exist in the game.
This game in its current state is actually a mess. I was not present for all seasons of the game, but I've played fairly actively as of s3 and throughout all prior seasons, the game never felt this frustrating. There are a number of issues from way back, essentially relics of the past, that still persist in the current game and I'm curious as to why they're still there. Minion pathing, turret's choice in what it aggros (How does it choose among minions of the same type?), Minion attack focusing, Nasus Q animation going through and not proccing the stack, and the list goes on and on.
It doesn't help that this meta feels far more team-oriented than before. A lot of people may disagree with me on this point, but I honestly think that hypercarries were healthy. Players should be rewarded based on their skill appropriately. If a player is good enough to be able to stall a game out long enough playing a heavy late game scaler, 30+ mins in, said player should be able to 1v9 with the pick. As it is right now, true 1v9s don't actually exist.
This sort of meta is so frustrating to play in especially when the previously mentioned factors regarding bugs is put into the equation. It can literally make games feel so insanely RNG and luck-based at times, and as a last note, what is up with us still not being able to see our actual mmr values in ranked games? I really don't think it's okay that players queueing and playing through ranked don't even know what exactly they're winning or losing. LP is arbitrary and shifts greatly based upon mmr, and no one can see their mmr.
