Broken LeaverBuster System: Losing LP For a win?

Recently I discovered that a mere 90 second disconnection from any League match automatically credits a player for a loss. I just finished a live chat with Gunny from the support team, and he informed me of this. In my most recent ranked game, I disconnected immediately after I got first blood against the enemy midlaner with help from my jungler duo to an issue with Comcast. After rebooting my router, I returned to the game to my surprise my team was still fighting on. Through a decent bit of farming and catching up, I became relevant in the game again, and we ultimately won the game. This game was going to put me into my Promo Series, and as such I made as much of an effort as I could to come back and perform for my team. To my surprise, I come to the post-game lobby to see "Victory! (--18LP)". WHAT!? After all of that effort of playing from behind to win the game I don't even get credited with the victory? This disincentivizes players from returning to games after disconnecting. I thought alright, perhaps I was gone more than 5 minutes, but 90 seconds? That's outrageous and is something we all should agree upon as a community! Drop your thoughts or comments below!
