Pro tip: don't quote win rate as a statistic for champion balance.

Ryze costs 450 IP and is one of the hardest champions to play. His winrate is not relevant to balance discussions.

Ryze is hard? Yeah it's hard when my face is tired from rolling and I need to use my elbows. Just get 4 stacks then WQERQWEQWRWQWRWQWEQ. I was Fiora top and Ryze was 50% health and I was 1.5 items ahead. I ulted him, then he stunned me for 5 seconds under his turret and he's supposed to be weak early game. Noob broken champ, this patch is a buff they give him 30 second ult gg nerf him rito pls.

I main Ryze, and it's nice that some posts here say he's more than just keyboard smashing. I thought the earlier nerfs were much needed. Being permarooted is unfun, and it's good that his damage output was toned down. But they went overkill this patch. I think even some of the top laners who used to struggle vs Ryze would agree.

I am very proud to main Ryze, but even i must admit Ryze is weak now.
