Detailed Reporting Options Suggestion

Of the many changes in League of Legends, I personally enjoyed the new and more effective punishment for Harassment and AFK'ing. I respect it a lot as it has toned down many toxic players. I however think many people still get away with other forms of abuse because it's not an option on the Report List. Here are 2 suggestions for more Detailed Report options:

  • Ping Bombing; otherwise known as spamming your Pings to the maximum 6 times in constant sets. This actually reduces frames for people on lower-end computers when it's literally on top of them 6 times. I understand in defense, many slower reacting players 'need' that many pings to play safer, however it's really annoying to visually see on the mini-map and if it's just being used while people are chat-restricted to show their salty attitude, it's not beneficial to the team. I've seen people spam it literally on top of a player they hate even when that player is miles from danger (at base for example). I like the cooldown on pinging more than 6, however if it's abused often, it could be reportable under "Ping Bombing" and the punishment can be limiting their pinging to 6 per 30 seconds, and if abused still, 6 per 45 seconds, and even further 6 per 1 minute. We need to lift the gentle punishments to make this effective.

*** Time Threats**; This one is an interesting one I feel because not many people think about it. This is the person who queues up into Ranked Solo talking about "I have time inconveniences, and will have to go if you don't finish the game in 10 minutes. HURRY UP PLEASE!" I understand that people have emergencies and other problems in life but, it should be noted that sometimes people go into games knowingly and carelessly with the idea of playing part the first 10-20 minutes of a Ranked game and just leaving without explanation or pushing/threatening people to force plays down a lane to try and rush the game to end absurdly quick. "Finish the game or I AFK, gotta go do _______." Why do people queue up when they know they have other things to do? This impacts people in both normals and more in Ranked. This not only puts an insane amount of pressure and negative atmosphere on the team (because now we HAVE to finish earlier to win or it's 4v5 or even 3v5) and because 1 persons "Time Inconvenience" becomes 5 players "Time Inconveniences". A solution to this I think would be to have a Confirmation Text-box for every Solo Ranked Queue prompt saying " By checking this box, you confirm that you have a minimum of 40 to 60 minutes of free time to dedicate to this Ranked Match." I mostly say this because I had many games where the win was 99% earned and close to the finish line, but then someone has to leave to go do other things (Especially powerful roles like ADC or Fed Roles). Since LP isn't refundable, it wouldn't make sense to refund LP because 1 person (or multiple) decided to indirectly threaten people they'll AFK because we couldn't finish the game in time. It's not as bad as rage-quitting after dying multiple times but it definitely makes a presence in the Ranked Community. It should be punishable because they clicked the "Confirmation" before queuing up so they had consent of having the time.

Other suggestions: If someone actually Mutes a person, let it be that they can't unmute until the end of that Gaming Session. It's already bad enough to openly tell the team "I'm muting so-and-so, reporting as well" because now the person causing chaos is aware and will probably only be even more toxic. I've seen people unmute and tell the other player "I unmuted you to say __, and I'm muting you again". It's very unecessary. I count that as Verbal Abuse/Negative Attitude on its own. I've seen people Ping-Bomb after seeing teammates say they will mute them. You can't really stop them from pinging you so with the suggestion above it could work. This really hurts in Ranked mostly.

People like you that are always looking for something to complain or cry about are the worst team mates.
