How To Fix Dynamic Queue

Hello Summoners,

Lately a lot of you have been complaining about dynamic queue. And when I say a lot....I mean a LOT! The root of the issue here lies with ranked solo players, who do not want to queue up against 3, 4, or even 5 man premades. Here's what Riot needs to do to fix it:

  • Remove 3 and 4 man premades from ranked queue
  • Queue 5 man premades only against other 5 man premades

This fix would basically revert ranked solo queue to its original status in ranked, while keeping dynamic queue present in normal's, and allowing 5 mans to queue in ranked against other 5 mans. Everyone is happy, no?

You know riot is never going to do that. Riot intended to support 3 or 4 person teams, and they are not just going to abandon that.

As for premades being matched with other premades, that already happens 95% of the time. And actually, It's probably okay to mix the two in the same Q. if that cross over only happens a small % of the time.

Riot is literally using the ostrich algorithm here. Ignoring the problem on the basis that the odds of it happening are within acceptable limits.
