Fizz is trash.

First off: Fizz was never broken except the the time when he was ACTUALLY broken before they mini reworked him in the days of DFG. Sure if you didn't know how to play against him then he could've seemed broken but that's your own perspective and opinion to blame, not the champion.

High mobility kit? It's like people some how forget that like any champion building full damage, if you catch him, he kinda blows up. Like REALLY quickly blows up.

He can go back to tank? He can go back to building AD? he can build whatever he wants? Did you miss the whole reason why those non AP assassins builds were viable in the first place? The old W passive had a massive amount of base damage to it with it being based on missing HP. This led to a fairly high base damage, especially when combined with the 20% damage increase from ult so you could afford to build tank on him and the W would still put in work.

Wasn't even super broken but it was cheesy and annoying which ended up leading to a nerf of the missing HP damage. With him no longer having that sort of high potential base damage these "broken" builds are basically the equivalent of me going full tank lux or some other bullshit. All it has to it is normal base damage that any other mage champions share.

Outside of those cheesy builds with the old DoT when was he not required to use his E? Last time I checked it was his only form of on demand burst and he definitely still needs the damage.

Once again your perspective is off. His old W did roughly the same damage and even more if left to tick for awhile but in return for losing that extra power his new W has more upfront damage along with his ult. It only looks as if he does more damage than before because the old damage wasn't instant.

His early game power was traded for a mid game power spike and his late game is still the same as unless he gets a perfect engage, he has big issues with finishing people off in one shots.

The problem with your ulty gripes is that if you're in a position to even get targeted by the ult then you're f-ing up. If you're someone who he's trying to target in the first place then the obvious solution is to sit behind the meat wall known as your teammates, or, get vision of the map so you don't get a surprise ulty from the nearby jungle/brush.

Again you missed the memo that tank fizz got deep sixed with his W change, but the only viable lanes that he can go are infact mid and jungle. Top lane features too many bruisers that are prone to heavy amounts of chase, burst, sustain, and dps for him to beable to consistently operate there outside of special matchups or incompetent players. This is even more prominent because most top laners have the luxury of building copious amounts of MR to nullify his magic damage then dumpster him if he gets anywhere near them.

And finally as your main point seems to be that you find his "other builds" broken I'll say it again, he can't build anything else as his old W DoT was the reason for those viable builds and that no longer exists. I could understand players attempting those builds again as they themselves don't understand why they were viable in the first place and no longer work, but, if you/someone else loses vs those builds then all I can say is you need to improve on some things because you're doing something wrong.
