Can We Get Some Clarification Please?

So, at first glance Bard's Q if freaking awesome. "Possible double stun? Holy sh*t!"

But after playing against him, playing as him, and watching him get played by Aphro... I'm still sitting here wondering... WHAT THE HELL KIND OF HIT-BOX IS THAT Q ON?!

Like, really? I'm standing NEXT TO someone and it stuns me? I thought this ability shoots out in a straight line? Ya'know, I'm not typically one to bitch about champion balancing, and I actually feel like Bard needs some serious buffs, but can someone in design please clarify where the damn hit-box is at on this champion's Q?!
