Oooooookay, so it appears that Ahri is in one of the top mid spots at the moment for the majority of the player base.

I've been maining her all season and pre-8.14 I thought that a mana reduction on the charm would've been nice, but that along with the huge increase in its base duration value definitely kicked her waaaay over the edge.

I can't tell if the balance team just made a genuine mistake of an overbuff or if they're just prepping for a skin release, after all it's been almost a year since her last one and Riot's come to collect. [sg-miss-fortune]

Either way, it just sucks because I can't get myself to play her at the moment. I've hovered away from meta picks most of the time. Ah well.

Looks like a genuine mistake because people don't realize how strong buffs like that are.

Also what is this board's obsession with refusing to play anything meta? So your champion is good are you less of a person if you play them? Does it damage your honor?

ahri mains complain if ahri doesnt have at least a 55% wr and has the ability to 1 shot after missing her Q.. ahri was my first main but i quit her so fast after I realized how much special treatment she receives, it doesn't feel right.

Also I really hope that Ahri doesn't get a skin for the next couple years. There are way too many champs that don't have enough and Ahri already got 4 in the past 3 years.

You have it backwards: Ahri gets skins after nerfs, not buffs.

2012: lot of adjustments, overall nerfs, Foxfire.
2013: nerfed after worlds, gets Popstar.
2014: gets buffed once, no nerfs, nothing all year.
2015: nerfed repeatedly after the 5.2 screwup, two skins: Challenger and Academy.
2016: more nerfing, Arcade.
2017: nerfed out of viability everywhere for a while, gets Star Guardian, a Legendary.

Unless she suddenly gets incredibly big on the pro scene in the next week or so, she's going to be ignored in favor of Worlds "balancing" for other Champs, meaning no nerfing Charm. No nerfs, no skin. Either way, everyone's mad.
