Why exactly has Kogmaw not been gutted yet?
So I know it's Preseason, things arent balanced yet. Vayne and Lucian can abuse Press the Attack all they want and get away with it, because obviously no one could have seen THAT coming, right? But Im not even here to complain about that, even though it's busted and fuckin annoying.
No, the real reason Im ranting here is Kogmaw: How is he still on the Rift being a literal walking machine gun that kills you in less than 2 seconds from over 800 units away while receiving constant MS buffs and shields from his slave support lulu? And when you try to engage on him, there's still Wildgrowth and 3 other literal meatshields that only serve the purpose of keeping Kogmaw alive. Im sorry if my Gold 3 mind is too weak to understand the D5 balance team's reasoning behind this, but there are obviously several problems at hand here:

Almost no Counterplay: Usually when people say this, it's when theyre just salty or misplay. In this case however, there is actually no counterplay. As long as Kog farms well and maybe gets a few kills here and there, he will be completely unstoppable. CC? Just buy QSS for 1300 Gold, thats a free escape. That is, if you get caught at all. Because that would require the enemy to penetrate the 3 meatshields that are your teammates and catch up to you while you constantly have above 500 ms. Anyone with half a brain can dodge skillshots at that tempo.

Boring and frustrating to play against: There is very little in Kogs kit that enemies can abuse. Sure, they can dodge his ult, but thats not his major damage source. Sure, they can wait until his W wears off, but a good Kog will play around that. And even without W, he still deals a truckload of damage. Laning against him is more boring than waiting for your dentist's appointment, because that's literally what you do: You sit there for 10 mins and try your best to prepare yourself for the destruction that is about to come, but deep in your heart you know its already over, unless your Jungler puts up a tent on botlane.

Limiting creativity and versatility of comps: Kogmaw being picked requires both the enemy and ally team to act on that, and basically exclusively that. You need Lulu or Janna as your support, ruling out any others. You need someone with good disengage and someone tanky, and then maybe another source of damage. The amount of possible, working comps has thus shrunk enormously. The enemy team has to adapt too: multiple forms of CC, strong engage or poke, a Jungler or Midlaner that can constantly gank bot, and most importantly botlaners that wont get completely obliterated by Kog early. A single pick forces everyone into a certain role, how is that balanced?
Let me end this by saying that, obviously, Kogs still lose. But the thing is that a good Kogmaw player can literally 1v5 (or rather 2v5 with his slave by his side) any game. A good player can abuse Kogmaw in a way that is unhealthy for the game. That is what Im trying to say and that is why Kogmaw should be nerfed hard or honestly reworked, because his current state is a snowbally, broken mess.
TLDR: Kog broken for multiple reasons, too easy for skilled players to abuse, needs to be nerfed!
