Zyra QoL changes
Zyra my favourite champion in league, at the time of writing this she is considered t1 mid and t2 support. But where are the Zyra players? The answer is not very many, why? Because her kit does damage but not enough and lacks any sustain.
Passive - Personally her passive needs changing, an on death slow wind up, slow missile speed is sub-par. Skilled players know how to bait out the shot and dodge it with ease. A suggestion put across to me from a teammate was to create an Illaoi styled passive whereby, she would summon a random plant around her. Another was an interaction with her plants and what order she casts her spells. If she hit a seed with her q her root duration on her e would increase. If she hit a seed with her e the q would proc a bleed. After thinking on that i could be a secondary effect on her w anyway. (Side note: her passive she reverts to her old plant form, but in the lore if she would die, she would die for good, 'If this body died, there would be no network of vines to retreat through, no roots to regrow her...' If that is the case, why is she turning into a plant?)
Q - Her q is absolutely fine I see no reason to change it, good range, good damge, slight delay, short cooldown.
W - the seeds was a cool idea but the cooldown reduction is lackluster, it is nice but with her current build (that I use anyway) it doesn't matter too much. The ability to absorb a seed to regen health/mana would help her sustain. Or as previously mentioned in the passive, if a seed is hit with either q or e the other would gain an effect. The plants are lackluster unless you're against someone who doesn't know how to play against her. The Spitter, is most of the time pointless, the range isn't enough to justify picking over the Lasher. The Lasher is in my opinion the better plant, does damage and has a slow.
E - Nothing is wrong with her e, high damage, root, long range, could do with a visual upgrade.
R - My favourite part of her kit. Large aoe knock-up with damage and a buff to the plants. The only thing I would change is the visuals, the colours aren't as visually appealing as some of the newer champs/ reworked.
Most of the time unless the person likes Zyra, she'll be cast aside, even for a Yasuo comp, why pick her when her ult is obvious, why not just grab Wukong who is easier to set-up with? Zyra is in an okay spot, I just feel she needs some quality of life changes to help her in the games current state.
