ad on ekko
all of the ekko's abilities are based on his ap. but people buy trinity force on ekko top . does it even help any of his abilities . would not it be a lot better to buy a ap item on ekko top .

For a tanky build Triforce is probably a much better damage item to go to, Sheen spam and movement speed and junk.
i used to play ekko a long time ago with tri force but recently i opened a new account and wanted to try new things . i go dark seal and refillable potion at beginning then upgrade refillable to corruption potion and buy a defensive item . if i have enough another dark seal . this allows me to completely harass my enemies and kick them out of lane . the damage is riduculous . (i have not played against trynd and xin yet but i think it will be really tough due to their sustain) . in mid game i try to roam and tp . to get stacks on my dark seal . it's usually a win due to w stun and easier to tower dive . after this i get meja's and full defensive with last item ap to carry . cuz u can't depend on other s in low elo . if i go full ap i am a top lane so i usually need to initiate and if i die then the game is over and if i go full tank i won't do enough damage to delete their carries. i still don't see why triforce is better(only movement speed) cuz all of ekko's abilities depend on ap . but iceborn gauntled is good .
