Ranked Changes for AFKs/DCs

I just finished ranked for the night. My last game for gold promos was going pretty well, we were up a good amount of gold and had control over how the game went. Before we could finish, our Alistar support either AFKs or DCs, putting us at a serious disadvantage. We eventually lose that game and the season is over.

I would love for something more intuitive to be done with AFKs and DCs. Perhaps something in line with a pause system, where theres a ~3 minute buffer for an AFKer/DCer to return, and if they aren't back in the allotted amount of time, ranked impact is extremely nullified for the leaver's teammates (lose 5 LP instead of 20, series unaffected, etc).

In short, It's frustrating how easily a game can be ruined off of such a common occurrence, especially games that matter like promotion/provisional games. Any feedback would be appreciated.
