Aery or Electrocute?

I've been playing my mages in the new season and keep on hearing about Aery so i decided to look up it's damage.It was worse then thunderlords by far and only seemed useful in lane phase.Since i play only late game champs with a lot of damage i decided to use electrocute for how much damage it gives. I've been thinking i was situational depending on the stage but the more and more i hear the more i think of replacing my runes,although i don't want to remove the damage and put my late game behinds a notch. I seem to think it helps alot along with other short poke champs such as but i keep thinking that it adds too much damage to malz combo and trades to be replaced. Is it worth it changing to Aery?
