So I just played Veigar support, went 8/1/12 and realised that Veigar is completly broken when after 20min I can just click R on anyone who is under 80% hp and they will die. I think that champions like Garen and Veigar (I play both a lot) should be nerfed because they are way to op for their skill level in low elo.
I think its not fair that a support can oneshot you with one point&click ability.
Veigar is amazing for climbing to silver but it will be much harder to get to gold. (if you are at your true skill level and not a smurf.)
His entire kit revolves around landing his very telegraphed stun. If you miss it you are a dead man walking. This is why he sees no LCS play.
He puts a Timer on the game. Lacks counterplay
as a veigar main i can confirm his a bit unbalanced but really easy to play against. everything beside his R is a skillshot with a small range. his abilites is also easy to predict and dodge. but someone like 
can fight him very easy
