Why is this a thing? I know that Rift Herald before mid season doesn't get touch in almost every game, but it is way too strong when the other team can't react.
It's completely red teams fault. It's not like the team can't react. They simply didn't want to.
You can interrupt the channeling of herald by hard cc'ing the user, there is a 3 second window. Also, herald can easily be killed, but noone was there to attack it. Irelia made the mistake not being there when mordekaiser channeled it. Cho'Gath completely ingored the team.
That's just the punishment of not caring about the new strong objective. They probably didn't ward herald and didn't control it. The better team wins, simply like that.
