DISCLAIMER I AM NOT A ZED MAIN

Im probably going to get downvoted but just please fucking stop.. Zed is fine. Probably the healthiest assassin in this game. Yea, his laning is safe. And yea he can get in and get out. I would rather have Zed be op then any other assassin in the game.

Instant burst. Not much counterplay at all really. He goes in and he either kills you in under a second or dies trying. Same with Talon except worse. Literally 0 counter play. If she has more gold then you, you will die. Seriously? Another example of the point and click damage nuke. Atleast with Zed I can outplay him just as much as he can outplay me. We all remember when LB was op. Some people still say she is. Those people are ADC mains.

The point I am trying to get at is that even if Zed is op (which is retarded) it is 100x better then an op Akali or katarina.

But Zed circlejerk threads are a tradition of the boards! If we get rid of zed threads we have to get rid of vayne, fizz, lee sin, and maybe EVEN RIVEN circlejerk threads! This would completely undermine the entire social order of the boards!

Assassins are meant to be annoying because they are made to assassinate but let's get real.

Current Zed is way healthier to play against than it was pre nerf Akali or pre nerf Talon and will always be healthier to play against than Fizz will ever be.

As for Katarina she's still an annoying butch and the only thing that holds her back is this meta of CC and mid lane God Azir , apart from that she's still amazing and will shine again once meta shifts in her favor.

Leblanc i hate to play against her as any immobile mage or even melee assassin due to her free haras and those instant blinks and retarded amount of point click burst...yes I consider that AOE shit as point and click because only retarded persom could miss that.

Let's get back on Akali and Talon ...guys, you don't want to see them OP because they are a pure example of NO COUNTERPLAY. Even tho they have poor early game, they both outshine Zed in late game when Talon can literally KABOOM any squishy from the face of the Summoner's Rift.

Even if I like assassins, not only in LoL but in every single game (played assassins creed, played THIEF, I am even a huge fan of assassins from worlds history like Ninjas, Hasasins from Damascus etc) I have to agree they are annoying, but...they are just assassins, and don't be a circle jerk about Zed , he's fine at his current state.

Talon Has one of the worst early games

Akali Is super annoying to lane against, and yes pink wards help but its still stressful that thats really one of the only ways to counter her, thats why she was added to the list for a small gameplay tweak.

Fizz Fuck this guy

Katarina Is one of the most snowbally champions, but can still be stopped from getting there and cc stops her dead in her tracks really hard, and relies on resets so hard.

Leblanc I don't really know about her. I've never really seen a LeBlanc carry unless they are like god mode.

Zed I will always and forever hate him. Him along with LeeSin and Tryndamere

hey! im a adc main i dont complain about Leblanc ! on a serious note i am also a zed main and unlike the other assassins he does require both skill and some intelligence to actually be good and be a threat that's not to say other assassins don't but they also have point and click abilitys and or some brief form of invulnerability Leblanc can turn invisible as well as dash twice Talon gets a teleport and gets to be walking around invisibly Akali ability to disappear in a fight and either run or wait for cd and burst you down Fizz do i gotta mention the q e escape combo with Katarina being able to burst you down every 10 seconds give or take plus unlike zed who has to auto you and deal up to 10% magic damage when your 50% hp Akali Talon have a mark to do even more damage to you. i just don't see how people complain about zed when we got these guys running around

fun fact: zed is one of the most countered champions in the game and the amount of abilities that counter him increases every year due to new champions

Zed could go for a nerf on how long he has to return to his shadow. Like I mean him staying under your tower killing you then pressing R and going back. Make it so that the shadow he returns to expires faster so he can't just dive you over and over the moment he gets a lead. Other than that his late game is quite meh.

I dont know why people cry about Zed he can literally be countered by item 3157 that's all it takes...

Zed is so much fun and i love playing him but i stopped playing him in ranked because how unreliable of a pick he can be if the enemy builds this. Dont get me wrong though, hes not weak, hes in a good spot.

Talon as well is in a good spot. He is a classic assassin and for the most part does exactly what an assasin is supposed to do and is weak after he uses his full combo. Thats the sign of being balanced.

Akali Is getting a rework eventually

Fizz most broken champion in the game. When idiots can main him and get to plat+ he needs to get gutted.

Katarina is only dangerous in low elos but her ability to never really be out of the game is what makes her scary. a 0/8/2 kat can still carry the game after one good teamfight if she grabs some kills.

Leblanc is a grey area, i dont like her but she keeps other champs in line i.e Viktor Ziggs

Diana Absolutely terrifying if fed, not much of an issue if not fed. Since she brings very little utility to her team she has a hard time coming back from losing lane.

I would say other than his early game/laning phase that he is indeed balanced. He doesn't need buffs, he's plenty good and does what an assassin should do. An assassin's job isn't to kill an important target and then proceed to fight the rest of the team 4 v 1, they risk themselves to secure a fight by taking out an important component to the enemy team. He does exactly that.

Fizz is awful.

Katarina is awful to because of that feast or famine potential. It can also be very difficult to defend yourself before losing vast amounts of HP from her R if you haven't built MR by then. (God help you if she got fed and started roaming.)

Leblanc is still annoying. I consider her far less dangerous than Zed however.

The reason why I dislike Zed is due to his safety.

He has a very reliable harass that uses a resource he will never run out of, on both his Q and his E.

If you cannot afford a item 3157 item 3140 or built for your lane opponent and he started to roam. You are going to have a difficult time killing him before he kills you or even getting away - if you got caught out.

The thing is, it feels as though Zed does not have to take as many risks as other champions to do what he does. If he cannot enter the enemy's territory he will poke. If he can he will fight, if he finds a target he will assassinate and escape. Extremely reliable champion that can go without full defense runes (Armor Marks, MR Glyphs) and still be safe almost regardless of the situation due his shadow. Especially if the enemy team decides to pair him with several tanks that can peel his ass.

Zed may not be as cockslap as other champions like Fizz Katarina Leblanc Akali but by george is he a hell of a lot more difficult to finish off.

I may make a thread about possible changes I'd like to see for Zed.
