I played through the Fratmog's and Metagolem eras, this trend is absolutely nothing in comparison to either of those, I daresay it's downright pleasant.
I mean I guess sitting back and right clicking all game is fun ..... I prefer ad caster requires more skill actually

Its aids, yes. Its just bad gamedesign if your classes who should actually have being squishy as their negative aspect just ignore that factor. But fulltanks already run rampant AGAIN, we had the cinderhulk meta and now we again have shit like rammus, malphite, gragas, nautilus as pick or ban champions. Riot has to change their itemization or change armor and mres calculation or just gut the basedamage of the fulltank champions so that they actually have to build damage to do it and not 1 comboing people with only a sunfire like nautilus currently ( his 10 basedamagenerf didnt actually help, what surprise). Tldr: tanky builds are too effective for too long now, it has to change.

otherwise we have adc in almost every lane. and the reason caster adc are so strong, is because essence reaver is broken.
