Supports have an item that gives you kill gold when the support gets the kill. So you can stop spamming abilities to last hit on us. You're going to get your precious gold, don't worry. All you are doing is hurting your team for no benefit to your own precious gold tally.
You should be more specific. The tanky Support Gold item set Relic Shield, Targon's Brace, and Face of the Mountain, give minion kill gold to the nearest ally, but only when they have a charge from it that looks like a small whitish-blue orb circling them.
Being quite vague as you were, they might get the impression that supports always have this, or that you might be talking about champion kills; of course, neither of which is the case.
