I've played a few games against people using this and I'd like to say it's not halfbad, but is it viable?
I'd like some examples where champs would benefit from it, and which champs would actually take this opposed to other masteries.

Seems to be everyone these days.
I havent figured it out completely myself but ive been seeing alot of people in many roles taking it--adc, top, mid, whatever.
So right now it doesn't appear restricted by who its good on and rather "do you want to use it or not"
Everyone but tanks and supports I think are better with bond of stone or the thing that steals life when your in combat, adcs and mid laners should definitly take thunderlords
Every single match I've played in the last few days at least 6 players out of 10 have used thunderlord's. I've even been in a few matches where 9/10 have. So basically every champion.
Yeah.... these are only the ones that i've played as/seen in my games that worked well.
Currently just because every other keystone was nerfed while Thunderlord's was buffed, it's good on almost anyone. It's more like finding the keystones that are better on specific champions (Deathfire Touch on Brand, Bond of Stone on tanky supports, etc) and using Thunderlord's on everyone else until the other keystones get buffs, which is next patch.
