Upcoming removal of on-hit for runaan's hurricane

So I remember seeing on surrender@20 that they'll be removing the on-hit of the secondary bolts for item 3085 and instead upping the damage ration from .2 AD to .4 AD. Thinking onto the champs who use it such as for on-hit, one would think for most of them runaan's wouldn't be a good buy anymore since it won't have on-hit. That being said thinking of champs who actually us runaan's not for the on-hit but just for extra damage, the only one's I can really think of are Jinx , MissFortune , Quinn , debatably Tristana and KogMaw . However the biggest issue I see is that without the on-hit proc, that means that Vayne can buy this item without any detrimental effects, so while she's bursting whoever she's killing at the moment, she can kill your team at the same time too. Thoughts?

The 15 on-hit damage got removed, not the ability for the bolts to apply on-hit effects. It's a huge buff.

You're delusional.

Please actually read the patch notes before you make a post complaining. Or at least play a game with it. If you had, you'd know they did NOT remove the ability to proc on hits with the secondary bolts. What they actually did is took off the on-hit damage granted by the recurve bow because it now builds out of Zeal, and not Recurve Bow anymore.

Vayne can already buy hurricane without any detrimental effects, it's just the alternatives tend to be better for what she wants to be doing. (Her W interaction with runnans is special cased so the side bolts don't apply w stacks.)

As people have pointed out though, runnans is only losing it's own personal on-hit effect, but the side bolts will still apply on-hit effects you may have from other items/abilities.
