Rengar Nerf Discussion
Hello guys,
I am here today to talk about the Rengar nerf. Not because I don't agree with the need for counterplay availability but because Riot's focus when it comes to balancing this game out is literally to not do anything about its tanks and just destroy people that actually know how to perform combos. With 6.2 update, Rengar's q was nerfed in the sense that it doesnt do as much burst damage. Ok...we can understand that. You did your research and it must have made sense. But you add a stupid .25 second delay on his e too? Why? His entire kit is meant to slow and q people. You are trying to help us out by making us land a little better? We don't need that. What we need is to be able to make decisions mid air. Sometimes mid jump, we decide to e a full health champion coming in to destroy our adc (like jax or yi) when the initial jump was towards their adc. THIS IS WHAT HIS COMPLEXITY REFERS TO. He can make multiple things happen. His unempowered e doesnt do much damage and nor does his w if you are going ad. Then why add the .25 second delay just to destroy the smoothness that is available with his kit. Other assassins dont get nerfed. The most banned group (tanks) dont get nerfed. You make pinks cost go down, completely understandable.
The Rengar nerf was coming and we knew it...but that e nerf is really a deal breaker. You are destroying the feel of an assassin. And honestly destroying the feel of playing Rengar by hindering players from being able to use their actives effectively in a combo. I want to know what the rest of the community thinks about it. But only those, who know how to counterpick, how to not feed, and how to buy pinks/wards.
