The hard Honest Truth.
This season especially, there have been a lot of good and bad feedback on how the meta is progressing and how the game is changing. From the most part it looks like a lot of people have more complaints then compliments for the changes, and of course a lot of people just don't care.
One thing important to remember when trying to get something changed, big picture wise, for league is that Riot is a company. If they are not losing money, they will never change anything. Its just the honest truth. Its not their fault because they won't cripple themselves with making major changes that result in losing large amounts of money.
You might think, "well if everyone is complaining about this season, why aren't they changing anything? Aren't they losing money if everyone is pissed off?" I'd say, no they're not losing money. Even the largest complaints about the game on the boards or on reddit, etc, don't have that many views/likes/upvotes whatever it may be. 100,000 people complaining about one thing in a player base of millions isn't going to really mean that much. Sure you might lose 5% of the general player base, but with new skin releases, the new hextech crafting system, high quality Spash art for your favorite champs, etc. Riot is still making tons of money. They won't change until that stereotypical business growth charts starts to have a steady decline in players and money. You have to remember that they're hundreds of thousands of addicted players with money burning a hole in their pocket to get that new skin for their favorite champions.
Its just the honest truth behind any large corporation, most companies won't change whats not broken OR They won't change whats not losing them money.
FYI: Believe it or not, pissing people off can actually HELP you make money or get ahead, IE when coca changed their recipe, people got pissed, hated the new product, demanded the old recipe back, and when the old recipe finally returned; CocaCola blew Pepsi out of the water. It boosted them way above the competition, and its started with doing something that looked bad for business.
Just remember when requesting change from a company, the only thing that will make them change is taking their money away, if you really want change then stop playing league, stop spending money, form petitions or extremely large groups of like minded people and do the same. If not, you'll probably never see any real change. Riot will do what they want, when they want, and how they want whether or not its player based changes or changes to help them make more money.
