Elo demotions below Diamond shouldn't be a thing

This is a vent post. Gonna get that out of the way. Lost my last game cause I got trolls and feeders, cause matchmaking. But to find out that I'm doing so bad that I can demoted to Silver 1 from Gold 5. This shouldn't be a thing at all. I'm having a tough enough time trying to get to Gold 4. I'm not saying I'd deserve Challenger or anything, but elo demotions cause more damage then good. Now I have to fight through a 5 game promo instead of a 3 game promo. And I have to pray that I get competent teammates. I'm not the best player, nor am I the worst, though I do feed sometimes, ill admit that, but elo demotions are demoralizing and unnessacary this far down the ladder. And the 50% winrate thing is BS as well. Not going to pick up another lane cause I cant carry as a top laner. Please remove elo demotions below Diamond.

ELO demotions should be dampened the longer someone has been playing ranked in that season. If it is in the first few weeks, someone might get placed higher than they are, and likewise should quickly be sent down to where they belong. If they have been in some division for more than three or four weeks playing ranked everyday, the number of losses they can incur before demotion should increase. Don't know if that is how it already is, but that's my two cents.
